Sibridge Technologies announces Wireless Sensor Network Reference Design
Santa Clara, CA -- October 17, 2014 -- Sibridge Technologies, a leading provider of Design and Verification IPs, with expertise in ASIC/SoC Design, Verification and Embedded solutions, today announced an ultra-low-power smart Wireless Sensor Network Reference Design Solution. The Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) reference design can be easily leveraged for variety of end applications like home automation, smart agriculture, smart city, industrial control and custom IoT applications. The WSN reference design consists of multiple connected nodes forming extendable and modular mesh network. Each node is equipped with variety of sensors like Proximity, Temperature, Humidity, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient etc. The over-the-air programming and ultra-low-power design keeps the overall maintenance cost to bare minimum. The support for hardware and software customization allows customers to target plethora of end applications.
"Our Wireless Sensor Network Reference design provides a powerful hardware and software platform for Internet of Things. The flexibility of use of wireless technology, compatibility to variety of sensors, ease of integration, programmability, intuitive GUI, cloud support and Android apps backed with technical custom support makes it an ideal choice for electronic product design companies targeting the IoT space." said Parthiv Shah, Director Embedded Systems, Sibridge Technologies.
The WSN reference design provides Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth LE, and IoT (6LoWPAN) as choice of the wireless communication protocol. The WSN reference design provides intuitive GUI and android apps for control and configuration. Customers can dynamically add or change sensors. The reference design also allows users to bind multiple sensors to elicit actions based on the configured benchmarks. Sibridge Technologies WSN reference design can connect to cloud based server for cloud computing and can be integrated with leading cloud technology providers. Its modular design helps customers to easily port it to their customized hardware and make them part of sensor network.
