Quintauris Announces Strategic Collaboration with MIPS to enable MIPS Atlas as part of RT-Europa
December 10, 2025 -- Quintauris, a leading provider of RISC-V solutions, and MIPS, a GlobalFoundries company and leading provider of RISC-V IP and software for physical AI platforms, announced a strategic collaboration. This collaboration sets the path for integrating the MIPS Atlas portfolio of RISC-V IP into the RT-EUROPA Reference Architecture, as well as future embedded platforms.
MIPS brings a privileged position in the automotive and high-performance embedded market, supported by its technology’s ability to power real-time, event-driven computing across advanced AI workloads. This makes the MIPS Atlas portfolio of RISC-V IP and software an ideal complement to Quintauris’ platforms roadmap, enabling enhanced support for automotive, robotics, and complex edge systems that rely on low-latency, high-reliability compute.
Through this collaboration, Quintauris continues to expand the network of IP vendors integrated into RT-EUROPA, reinforcing its mission to deliver a unified, interoperable, and production-ready foundation for RISC-V in high-performance applications. Developers benefit from broader design choice, compatibility and software-first enablement when deploying MIPS silicon-proven technology across safety-critical and performance-demanding applications.
“Integrating MIPS’s RISC-V IP into our RT-EUROPA Platform, and future platform, expands the design choices available to developers building the next generation of automotive and edge systems. MIPS’s strong market position and technical depth make them an ideal partner as we continue to grow a truly interoperable ecosystem for high-performance RISC-V solutions.” Pedro Lopez, Market Strategy Officer, Quintauris.
“Integrating the MIPS Atlas IP portfolio into the Quintauris RT-EUROPA Platform brings MIPS technology into the hands of more developers creating the next generation of mission critical platforms for automotive and industrial applications. Customers can build systems using standards-based technology to deliver more efficient, scalable solutions for high-growth markets.” Drew Barbier, VP IP BU, MIPS.
This partnership reinforces the maturity of the RISC-V ecosystem for safety-capable platforms and highlights the commitment of both companies to advancing open, scalable compute platforms for the most demanding real-world applications.
