QUALCOMM and Icera Sign WCDMA Wireless Software Patent Agreement
SAN DIEGO — April 04, 2006 — QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and other advanced wireless technologies, and Icera Inc., a wireless soft modem company headquartered in Bristol, England, today announced that they have signed a worldwide wireless software patent agreement. Under the terms of the multi-million dollar agreement, QUALCOMM has granted Icera rights under certain QUALCOMM patents to develop, manufacture and sell software products for WCDMA devices.
