Intel CTO outlines 2008 strategy

BENGALURU, India — Intel Corp. researchers have identified five focus areas for 2008, including "platform-on-a-chip" development.
Intel's corporate technology group, which includes about 1,000 researchers in 15 locations worldwide, including here, has outlined five areas it will focus on this year: terascale computing, platform-on-a- chip, trusted services, a mobile computing initiative called "carry small, live large" and "ultimate connectivity."
