Memory Design Expert, Industry Authority Appointed to ATMOS Corporation R&D Team
Ottawa, Ontario - 04/08/2002- Semiconductor memory industry heavy-hitter Sreedhar Natarajan has joined ATMOS Corporation’s research and development team, where he will manage memory design projects and contribute to ongoing development of the world’s only “1T” embedded DRAM compiler.
With specialized interests in low-power and high-speed memory designs, Natarajan has more than 20 filed and issued patents. He is an active organizer and presenter in the industry, currently serving on the ISSCC memory Sub-Committee, CICC eMemory committee and ICECS program committee. In addition, he is a senior member for the Institute of Electrical and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), is the recipient of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Outstanding Service Award'01 and has been an invited speaker at various IEEE international conferences. He serves on the technical advisory council for many universities on memory-related projects and was recently named adjunct member of the faculty of the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. Natarajan co-authored the book, SOI Design: Analog, Memory and Digital Techniques.
Natarajan joined ATMOS from Texas Instruments Incorporated in Dallas, Texas, where he was a Member of the Group Technical Staff since 1997. During his tenure there, he worked on 64Mbit DRAMs and SRAMs. Prior to Texas Instruments, he was Design Manager responsible for SRAM development at Paradigm Technologies. He received his M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of South Western Louisiana, Lafayette.
