Intrinsix Corp. Joins ARM Connected Community
-- System-on-Chip (SoC) design company Intrinsix Corp. announced today that it has joined the ARM® Connected Community. With approximately two dozen ARM technology-based designs already completed, Intrinsix will now be able to better serve its clients with ARM Powered® IP.
“ARM is the industry leader and many of our clients assume ARM IP will be in their product as early as the concept stage” said Mark Beal, Intrinsix CTO. “We develop those concepts into specifications and then into silicon. The decision to use ARM is a fairly easy one given the best-in-class IP and support available directly from ARM and the vast array of third party IP, tools and libraries available from ARM’s Connected Community Partners.”
Intrinsix has been providing ASIC and SoC solutions to the world’s chip and system developers since 1985. With its headquarters in Westboro, MA Intrinsix operates design centers across the US and in Israel.
The ARM Connected Community is a global network of companies aligned to provide a complete solution, from design to manufacture and end use, for products based on the ARM architecture. ARM offers a variety of resources to Community members, including promotional programs and peer-networking opportunities that enable a variety of ARM Partners to come together to provide end-to-end customer solutions. The ARM Connected Community also enables Intrinsix to utilize the ARM Connected Community logo, which is an easy way for customers to recognize that Intrinsix has proven their commitment and expertise in support of the ARM architecture.
"By joining the ARM Connected Community, which now comprises more than 300 companies, Intrinsix increases the large portfolio of skills, products and services that are centered around the ARM architecture, and currently available to developers worldwide," said Mary Inglis, Director of Alliances for ARM.
