IntoPIX And Cobalt Digital Enable Scalable, Low-Latency IPMX Video With JPEG XS TDC At ISE 2026
Certified IPMX-ready Cobalt solutions powered by intoPIX reduce bandwidth while preserving visually lossless quality and real-time performance.
Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium – February 03, 2026 – At ISE 2026, intoPIX and Cobalt Digital will demonstrate how IPMX JPEG XS profice with TDC capability helps users deploy more efficient and scalable IPMX video systems.
For system integrators and end users, the benefit is clear: significantly lower bandwidth than uncompressed video, ultra-low latency, and visually lossless image quality. This allows IPMX infrastructures to support more streams and higher resolutions while keeping network design simple and cost-effective.
Interoperability is another key advantage. By relying on a standardized and certified IPMX JPEG XS profile with extended Temporal Differential Coding capabilities, users can confidently deploy multi-vendor systems and reduce integration risks.
These benefits are already available in certified products. Cobalt’s IPMX-certified SAPPHIRE BBG-2110 Mini Converters, ARIA Audio Monitors, TOPAZ 9904-UDX and 9905-MPx Processors, UltraBlue MV-SW Multiviewers, PACIFIC 9992 Encoders and Decoders and the INDIGO ST 2110 Gateway all integrate intoPIX’s TicoXS FIP codec and support both IPMX uncompressed video and IPMX JPEG XS with TDC, offering flexibility for real-world AV and broadcast workflows.

“JPEG XS with TDC enables IPMX deployments that are practical at scale,” said Jean-Baptiste Lorent, Head of Media, Entertainment & ProAV Group at intoPIX. “It allows users to reduce bandwidth while maintaining real-time performance and image quality.”
“Supporting JPEG XS with TDC allows our customers to design IPMX systems that are easier to scale and deploy,” said Suzana Brady, SVP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Cobalt Digital. “It gives integrators the flexibility they need for real-world installations.”
At ISE 2026 (Barcelona, February 3–6, 2026), intoPIX is hosting live IPMX interoperability demonstrations on its booth (Hall 5, Booth 5F700), featuring certified partner products including Cobalt solutions.
