EVE Joins MIPI Alliance
Will Complement ZeBu With Fast, Robust Components Supporting MIPI Standards
SAN JOSE, CA-- May 8, 2012- EVE, the leader in hardware/software co-verification, announced today that it has joined the MIPI Alliance as a MIPI Adopter.
The MIPI Alliance is a global, collaborative organization comprised of companies that span the mobile ecosystem committed to defining and promoting interface specifications for mobile devices. By joining the alliance, EVE will complement its family of fast ZeBu (Zero Bugs) emulation systems with a fast, robust synthesizable emulation verification components supporting MIPI standards.
"MIPI has emerged as the gold standard for mobile SoC device functions and interconnect," remarks Luc Burgun, EVE's president and chief executive officer. "We welcome an opportunity to participate in this industry standards setting group to better serve the design and verification community in need of MIPI standards."
EVE provides accelerated system-on-chip (SoC) transaction-based accelerated verification for hardware and software developers who access ZeBu as a network resource. ZeBu is in use in production environments at leading semiconductor, communications, video and portable and stationary consumer product companies. It provides a library of off-the-shelf, synthesizable emulation virtual components. More than 30 are available to verify SoCs for wireless and wired communications, processors and consumer products, and provide co-emulation with virtual platform development environments for pre-silicon software development. EVE's ZEMI-3 generates custom, synthesizable transactors for user custom protocols.
Typical projects achieve verification speeds that range from five to 30 MHz with ZeBu Blade II and ZeBu-Server. With Smart Debug, ZeBu provides 100% accessibility into the device under test and a hierarchical debug methodology to trace problems.
EVE will offer demonstrations of the ZeBu hardware-assisted verification family in Booth #1926 at the 49th Design Automation Conference (DAC) June 4- 6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
