DELTA Microelectronics Teams with RacyICs for 28nm ICs

Copenhagen, Denmark – December 11, 2013 - DELTA Microelectronics, the European leader in complete ASIC supply chain services, announces today that it has been selected by Germany-based RacyICs for its upcoming 28nm ICs.

RacyICs’ design and physical implementation in 28nm will be backed by DELTA’s production services and will be produced by GLOBALFOUNDRIES. As GLOBALFOUNDRIES’ channel partners, RacyICs and DELTA will provide turnkey ASIC and SoC solutions in advanced nodes covering low power design and implementation as well as full supply chain services including wafer procurement and wafer sort, packaging, component testing, storage and qualification.

Based on the success in 28nm projects, the two companies are also looking to collaborate on GLOBALFOUNDRIES´ leading edge technologies such as 14nm FinFET and beyond, to provide customers with multiple performance and power benefits.
