Overview
The EW6181 is the lowest power, high sensitivity and accuracy multi-GNSS silicon complete with all required firmware and EVK to implement GPS L1, Glonass, BeiDou, Galileo, SBAS, WASS and A-GNSS.
The chip includes the RF frontend, digital baseband for signal processing, ARM MCU to run the firmware and a host of interfaces for connectivity in different applications. The chip also integrates a DC-DC converter, a high voltage LDO and a low voltage LDO to reduce module BoM in battery-operated applications.
The patented and proprietary algorithms implemented in EW6181 have enabled the smallest silicon at the lowest power consumption.
The EW6181 is Cloud ready for those applications needing and willing to operate in a connected environment to achieve lower power and higher accuracy and sensitivity.
For certain applications that require high levels of integration, the EW6181 IP in RTL, gate-level netlist, or GDS may be licensed. The IP licensed can be ported to any technology node subject to the availability of the RF frontend.
Our innovative DSP algorithms and implementation have the smallest design and footprint for the lowest power consumption IP core to meet the needs of a variety of applications. With the smallest number of components and optimized BoM, the battery life of tags and modules can be extended to meet challenging applications.
The IP is supplied with the most stable firmware for accurate high reliable location tracking along with support and upgrades.
The EW6181 digital IP has an approximate size of 0.05mm2 in 5nm semiconductor technology.
