TTTECH releases 10 Gbit TSN-End Point IP Integration Kit to enable rapid TSN adoption in mission-critical applications

November 18, 2025 -- Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) plays an ever-increasing role as a key digital backbone standard for modular open system architectures (MOSA) in aerospace and defense. TSN is also widely used in the automotive sector and industrial automation. TTTECH is active in all of these markets as a leading provider of TSN switches, end points, scheduling tools and software – with a comprehensive portfolio of equipment fielded and under development. TTTECH is also a leading developer of TSN chip IP.

TTTECH’s latest product release, the ^TSNEnd Point IP Integration Kit, enables system developers to leverage TTTECH’s 10 Gbit/s switched endpoint FPGA IP core into AMD Zynq^™ Ultrascale+^™ platforms. This enables providers of mission computers and other on-board systems to make their systems compatible with modern digital backbone architectures. 

TTTECH’s ^TSNEnd Point IP Integration Kit is based on standard evaluation hardware. This allows for a fast and cost-efficient entry into the realm of TSN networks for mixed-criticality implementations, supporting the 802.1DP Aerospace profiles. TSN is the basis for converged Ethernet networks and supports real-time video streaming, AI-enabled mission computing, and multi-sensor data fusion on the same network without compromising timing guarantees.

TTTECH’s ^TSNEnd Point Pro (IP) will support the following TSN extensions including the TSN for Aerospace profiles (802.1DP): 

• IEEE 802.1AS-2020 Time Synchronization
• IEEE 802.1Qbv Time Aware Shaping
• IEEE 802.1Qav Credit Based Shaper
• IEEE 802.1CB Frame Replication and Elimination for Reliability (FRER)
• IEEE 802.1Qcp Bridges and Bridged Networks (VLAN support)
• IEEE 802.1Qci Per-stream Filtering and Policing

The ^TSNEnd Point IP Integration Kit is designed to be used in conjunction with TTTECH’s vendor-agnostic Slate XNS tool that can be procured separately, allowing users to design network architectures and deploy YANG device configurations via NETCONF to target devices. This significantly reduces the learning curve and enables integration of 3rd party devices.
