License of SafeNet Technology Expanded by Texas Instruments

(TI) has broadened its license of SafeNet Intellectual Property, SafeXcel™ IP.

TI previously licensed SafeNet's intellectual property to deploy within its OMAP™ platform in 2.5 and 3G wireless devices. These embeddable security blocks are used to accelerate security functions in different applications alleviating the processing burden off of other main components within the system.
