Andrew Haines Joins Management Team At ARC International
SAN JOSE, CA., - October 22, 2002 – ARC International (LSE: ARK), a world leader in configurable SoC platform technologies, announced it has hired Andrew Haines as senior vice president of marketing. Andrew will report directly to the company’s president and be responsible for all marketing and marketing communications activities. Farzad Zarrinfar has accepted the position of vice president of strategic sales.
“Since the beginning of the year I’ve focused on building a world-class management team to further our leading position in customizable SoC solutions,” said Mike Gulett, CEO and president. “With the addition of Andrew Haines, that process is complete. We now have the organization, experience and skills in place to execute ARC’s vision.”
Haines has more than 25 years experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining ARC, Haines was vice president of marketing at Synplicity where he was a key member of the management that completed the company’s IPO. Previously, he has also held enior marketing positions at Actel, VLSI Technology, Intel, and Philips. Haines holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin.
