Newport Beach, CA. – April 15, 2014 – Acacia Research Corporation (NASDAQ: ACTG) announced today that a subsidiary has partnered with a leading semiconductor company on patents related to high speed digital display interface technology used in industry standards such as DisplayPort and DisplayPort-related technologies and also MIPI DSI. DisplayPort is widely deployed in today’s PCs, laptops, tablets, monitors while DisplayPort-related technologies and MIPI DSI are used in smart phones and other consumer electronic devices with smaller displays.
