Overview

Dream Chip’s Real-time Pixel Processor for Vision applications is a scalable and configurable Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) capable image signal processor (ISP). The processing pipeline consists of all necessary modules allowing to output the highest possible quality.

The H Series provides configurable input and output data widths. It accepts YCbCr or RAW input data and supports input image frames with 8, 10 and 12-bit amplitude resolutions.

The H1 Series are ISPs which are optimized for area while getting the best image quality. Options to extend the pipeline with a Machine Vision output or configuring the line size to further optimize area are possible.

Extensions for functional safety can be included in accordance with ISO26262 to support automotive applications.

Specification:

Sensor input Bayer / clear pixel / mono
RGGB / RCCB / RCCC
Configurable 12-bit input – up to 64 Mpix resolution
Throughput 1.3 gigapixels / second e.g. 16 MP @ 60 fps, 640x480 @ 240 fps
ISP output Streaming output for Human Vision (Machine Vision – optional)
