Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) RF IP

Overview

The VeriSilicon Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) RF IP is a 2.4GHz ISM band transceiver which is designed for Bluetooth Smart or IEEE 802.15.4 based applications. It is compliant with the BLE 4.2 and 802.15.4 PHY specifications, and supports 1Mbps GFSK and 250Kbps O-QPSK modulation and demodulation. It can be combined either with the Bluetooth Smart baseband and controller to form a complete Bluetooth Smart solution, or with 802.15.4 compliant MAC to form a 802.15.4 based solution, e.g. Zigbee or Thread etc. A Slave Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) is used as connection to baseband or external MCU.
