SiWorks Inc. Appoints Mr. Xerxes Wania to the Board of Advisors
(Calgary, Canada - April 19th, 2004) - SiWorks Inc., a leading provider of wireless semiconductor intellectual property cores and design services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Xerxes Wania to the company’s Board of Advisors. Xerxes joins existing Advisory Board members Duane Sharman and Michael Mertens.
Mr. Wania has over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor intellectual property industry. He was most recently the Director of Mixed-Signal Marketing at Synopsys (Nasdaq: SNPS) where he was involved in marketing and business development activities for Synopsys’ mixed-signal semiconductor IP products. Prior to Synopsys, Mr. Wania was the President of inSilicon Canada and Vice President of Mixed-Signal Business for inSilicon (Nasdaq: INSN) worldwide. inSilicon was a semiconductor IP market leader before being acquired by Synopsys in 2002. Mr. Wania was also previously the founder and CEO of Xentec Inc, a successful semiconductor design services and semiconductor IP core company located in Ontario, Canada.
