Overview

The IPX-MPEG2-TS IP-cores are designed to be used with intoPIX video codecs. The IP-cores provide TS encapsulation / TS de-encapsulation and can be used with TICO-XS (JPEG-XS compliant) encoder & decoder cores or intoPIX JPEG2000 encoder & decoder IP-cores, and can be adapted to work with other compression scheme. The IPX-MPEG2-TS cores support audio, video and ancillary data.

The IPX-MPEG2-TS-XS IP-cores version combined with intoPIX JPEG XS compression (IPX-TICO-XS IP-cores) bring full interoperability with (upcoming) VSF TR07 recommendations to carry JPEG XS video over SMPTE 2022-1/2 with MPEG2 TS encapsulation.
The IPX-MPEG2-TS-J2K IP-cores used with intoPIX JPEG 2000 compression (IPX-J2K IP-cores) bring full interoperability with VSF TR01 recommendations to carry J2K over SMPTE 2022-1/2 with MPEG-2 TS encapsulation.

The IP-core is available for both Altera and Xilinx FPGAs
