Wipro to demonstrate its MBOA MAC IP in IP Japan and Wireless USB Devcon
Bangalore, India, May 16, 2005: Wipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT), will demonstrate its MBOA MAC Intellectual Property core in IP Japan, Tokyo during May 19-20 and in Wireless USB Developers Conference, San Jose during May 23 – 24, 2005.
MBOA (MultiBand OFDM Alliance) enjoys the support of many industry players from the Consumer Electronics and PC industry and from industry bodies such as WiMedia, USB IF and 1394 TA. Wipro’s MBOA MAC is feature-rich as well as customizable. It can be integrated into devices such as Set Top Boxes, Digital TVs, Digital Still Camera, Printers, Wireless Media Players and other wireless digital peripherals. Wipro is one of the earliest providers of MBOA based Intellectual Property cores.
