Verification leader TransEDA names former Semiconductor Executive as Chief Executive Officer

Paris, France, December 15, 2003 – TransEDA, a leader in coverage and ready-to-use verification solutions for electronic designs, has appointed Jean-Luc Bouvresse, former VP and General Manager of Philips Semiconductors and most recently COO and VP of Sales of Philips Semiconductors’ spin-off Adelante Technologies, to be its Chief Executive Officer. Bouvresse brings more than 20 years of semiconductor industry experience to this new position.

Bouvresse will be responsible to build a profitable organization by merging the leading technologies of TransEDA and TNI-Valiosys and provide most advanced products for coverage and verification to companies designing Systems-on-a-Chip.

He has consistently delivered complex SoC designs by selecting and using best of class EDA tools. His strong background in semiconductors and SoC designs give Jean-Luc a clear understanding of the design flows and methodologies required to deliver advanced technologies on time.
