SAN JOSE, CALIF. –– November 13, 2014 –– Uniquify, a leading high-performance semiconductor intellectual property (IP) and system-on-chip (SoC) integration and manufacturing services supplier, today named Dale Olstinske to the position of senior vice president of worldwide sales.
Olstinske, a 35-year semiconductor industry veteran, has served in roles of increasing responsibility with leading electronic design automation (EDA), IP and semiconductor companies, including Denali Software (now part of Cadence Design Systems), LogicVision (now part of Mentor Graphics), LSI Logic and Intel. He reports to Josh Lee, Uniquify’s president and chief executive officer, and manages sales, and pre- and post-sales customer support and service. Olstinske is responsible for driving adoption of Uniquify’s fast DDR memory IP including solutions for DDR4 and LPDDR4 applications.
“We are pleased to have a seasoned executive from the DDR space like Dale join us to lead the sales effort,” remarks Lee. “This is especially helpful as we push our fast, leading-edge DDR4 and LPDDR4 memory IP solutions that includes our patented self-calibrating logic technologies.”
At Denali, Olstinske was responsible for worldwide sales of EDA tools and Semiconductor IP. Earlier, he was a member of the management team at LogicVision during its growth phase culminating in a successful initial public offering (IPO) in 2001.
“Uniquify has the most interesting offering in DDR IP and the fact that the company is already fielding solutions for both LPDDR4 and DDR4 is what attracted me to the company,” affirms Olstinske. “Its patented dynamic self-calibrating logic technology makes it especially attractive to design teams because it delivers a combination of high performance, low power and small footprint along with increased system reliability.”
Olstinske holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
