SoC Solutions announces the availability of a GPS baseband receiver running on a Starcore platform
Duluth, GA – April 20, 2004 – SoC Solutions has developed a scalable Global Positioning System (GPS) baseband receiver that performs all of the satellite correlation, acquisition and tracking and digital signal processing needed for receiving and processing up to 16 GPS satellite channels. Available immediately as a licensable IP solution, the GPS-B3 is integrated on the StarCore platform providing an effective solution for adding GPS functionality to portable consumer products that include cell phones, PDAs, but also automotive vehicle tracking, and asset tracking. The GPS-B3 is an RTL intellectual property (IP) block that can be fully integrated into the StarCore platform to enable easy implementation into a system-on-chip solution.
