Sankalp Semiconductor Enters into a Sales Agreement with ChipStart to Promote GPIO IP
Palo Alto, California, October 29, 2010 - Sankalp Semiconductor, a leading semiconductor design services and IP provider, announced today that the Company has entered into a sales agreement with ChipStart, a leading semiconductor intellectual property and silicon solutions company. The agreement states that ChipStart will distribute Sankalp’s GPIO IP resulting in increased geographical coverage for Sankalp Semiconductor. According to the sales agreement, ChipStart has rights to distribute Sankalp Semiconductor’s entire GPIO IP portfolio. Sankalp Semiconductor has silicon proven GPIO libraries in 65 nm TSMC GP and 40 nm TSMC G processes. A road map has been put in place to develop future libraries to support our valued customers’ needs.
