Pantech Selects AuthenTec's DRM Client Solution for Android

MELBOURNE, Fla.--December 16, 2010--AuthenTec (NASDAQ: AUTH), a leading provider of security, identity management and touch control solutions, today announced that leading mobile device maker Pantech has chosen AuthenTec’s DRM Fusion Agent to help protect high-value content on several new Android 2.2-based mobile phones.

AuthenTec DRM Fusion Agent Client for Android supports Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) standards, as well as Windows Media and Microsoft PlayReady standards. AuthenTec also offers an end-to-end media security solution using the AuthenTec DRM Fusion Server for carriers and network service providers.
