ARC International Expands Sales Force
Company Experiencing Increased Demand for ARCtangent™ and USB SoC solutions
San Jose, CA., November 26, 2002 – Due to increasing customer demand, ARC International (LSE:ARK), a world leader in configurable System-on-Chip (SoC) platform technologies, announced the expansion and reorganization of its North American sales force. As a result, ARC will be better positioned to identify emerging market opportunities and partner with its customers to deliver integrated product solutions.
To create and expand customer relationships in North America, R. Scott Hills has been promoted to vice-president of sales for North America. Karen Lamar has been promoted to vice-president of sales for North America-West and David Yager, who joins the company from MIPS, will assume the newly created position, vice-president of sales for North America-East. Scott, Karen and David bring over 60 years of engineering, marketing and sales experience to ARC’s team.
“We are expanding and reorganizing our North American sales force to take advantage of the new market opportunities afforded by the recent introductions of the ARCtangent-A5 microprocessor and USB On-The-Go (OTG) peripherals,” said Mike Gulett, ARC’s president and CEO.
