Overview

The AR34T3C Mono audio CODEC is a cost-down high-end solution for multi-media portable applications. It features microphone input and dual-channel headphone outputs. The CODEC gives more than 90dB signal-to-ratio (SNR) and dynamic range (DR) performance for both DAC and ADC converters. In addition, on-chip analog and digital loop backs are supported during test mode. The Input Mixer allows signal from FM or auxiliary source to be mixed with microphone recording for A/D conversion, while the Output Mixer enhances the playback sound effects with the recorded signal from ADC. An internal anti-pop function is available to suppress click noise during power on/off transition.
