4K/8K Multiformat IP supporting AV2 decoder
Multi-standard video codec hardware IP that supports a wide range of video codec standards, including AV2, AV1, VVC, HEVC/H.265, AVC/H.264, and VP9
Overview
WAVE63F1 is a high-performance multi format codec IP including AV2 decoder and AV1, VVC/H.266, HEVC/H.265, AVC/H.264, VP9 built on Chips&Media’s latest video codec IP platform, WAVE6 Gen2+.
AV2is built onthefoundation of AV1 from the Alliance for Open Media (AOMedia). AV2 provides superior bitrate efficiency, enabling high-quality video delivery at significantly lower bitrates.
